From August 17 to 22, 2025, Morgane Fournier, Vivien Louppe, and I attended the European Society for Evolutionary Biology (ESEB) Congress in Barcelona. I was invited to give a talk as part of a symposium on craniofacial evolution organized by Olivia Plateau and Kevin Le Verger. This provided a fantastic opportunity to present the META-MORPHOSIS project to a broad audience of researchers coming from diverse backgrounds in evolutionary biology, and to engage in stimulating discussions across disciplines.
In addition, Vivien and Morgane presented a poster showcasing part of their ongoing research project, which sparked many interesting exchanges throughout the conference. We would like to warmly thank Olivia and Kevin for the invitation and for organizing such an inspiring symposium. It was a real pleasure to reconnect with colleagues, exchange ideas with researchers from different fields, and spend a few days once again in the beautiful city of Barcelona.
