avec Ronald Bonett et Molly Womack, un colloque lors du congr\u00e8s de la SICB sur le th\u00e8me \u00ab Les cons\u00e9quences \u00e9volutives de la m\u00e9tamorphose chez les m\u00e9tazoaires \u00bb ! Nous avons organis\u00e9 cet \u00e9v\u00e9nement sous un format hybride afin de garantir la participation des intervenants confront\u00e9s \u00e0 des difficult\u00e9s de d\u00e9placement ou \u00e0 des perturbations m\u00e9t\u00e9orologiques. Nous avons r\u00e9uni un groupe exceptionnel de chercheurs travaillant sur la m\u00e9tamorphose chez une grande diversit\u00e9 d'animaux et selon des approches vari\u00e9es, ce qui a donn\u00e9 lieu \u00e0 une discussion v\u00e9ritablement interdisciplinaire sur la mani\u00e8re dont la m\u00e9tamorphose fa\u00e7onne la diversit\u00e9 animale.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">J\u2019ai \u00e9t\u00e9 ravie de d\u00e9couvrir un panel aussi exceptionnel d\u2019intervenants venus partager leurs recherches et leurs id\u00e9es : Madison Herrboldt, Bruno Frederich, Carissa N. McGouran, James W. Truman, Peter T. R\u00fchr, Chris Led\u00f3n-Retting, Morgane Fournier, Isabelle Toussaint-Lard\u00e9, Vivien Louppe, Alycia Lackey, Michelle White et Mara Heilig. Leurs pr\u00e9sentations ont donn\u00e9 lieu \u00e0 des \u00e9changes fructueux qui se sont poursuivis lors d\u2019un atelier passionnant organis\u00e9 \u00e0 la suite de la conf\u00e9rence. Ensemble, nous avons explor\u00e9 les cons\u00e9quences de la m\u00e9tamorphose chez les insectes, les grenouilles, les salamandres et les poissons, tout en \u00e9tablissant des liens entre des approches allant de l\u2019endocrinologie et de l\u2019histologie \u00e0 la biom\u00e9canique, la g\u00e9nomique, la physiologie, la mod\u00e9lisation et la th\u00e9orie de l\u2019\u00e9volution.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">L\u2019un des moments forts pour moi a \u00e9t\u00e9 de constater \u00e0 quel point ce colloque a permis de rassembler des chercheurs issus de disciplines biologiques tr\u00e8s diff\u00e9rentes autour de questions et de concepts communs li\u00e9s \u00e0 la m\u00e9tamorphose. Nous avons \u00e9galement organis\u00e9 une tombola artistique asynchrone sur le th\u00e8me de la \u00ab m\u00e9tamorphose \u00bb, \u00e0 laquelle de nombreux chercheurs en d\u00e9but de carri\u00e8re ont particip\u00e9 en proposant des \u0153uvres cr\u00e9atives inspir\u00e9es de leurs travaux scientifiques, ce qui a ajout\u00e9 une dimension suppl\u00e9mentaire d\u2019interaction et de renforcement de l\u2019esprit communautaire \u00e0 l\u2019\u00e9v\u00e9nement.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Un num\u00e9ro sp\u00e9cial rassemblant les contributions issues du colloque est actuellement en cours de r\u00e9daction pour la revue *Integrative and Comparative Biology*.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Un grand merci \u00e0 Ron et Molly pour avoir organis\u00e9 ce colloque sur place, ainsi qu\u2019au COB pour son soutien financier \u00e0 cet \u00e9v\u00e9nement !<\/p>","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>I co-organized a symposium at the SICB meeting with Ronald Bonett and Molly Womack on The Evolutionary Consequences of Metamorphosis in Metazoans!
